The word "runes" means "mystery". The Runes originated with the Vikings sometime around the 4th Century C.E. They are traditionally made out of wood, clay or stone, with carved symbols called glyphs. I discovered them around the same time I found numerology, at age 17, and realized they were a language I already knew at the cellular memory level. For this reason they are my signature method of divination.
